Dear Folks,
At Small Farmer's Journal we do not believe in "writer's guidelines."
They too often contribute to a homogenization and over-simplification
of editorial material. They work as convenient enticements to professional
and quasi-professional writers to submit articles which seldom contain
truth, or the ring of truth, let alone actual experience-born information.
We want the writings of people who've done it.
We suggest you purchase a copy of the Journal. A good reading will
answer your questions.
We purchase one-time rights to material for between $25 and $150. (We
are open to trades as well.)
Reading your copy of the Journal will tell you that we place a premium
on sincerity and experience. A facility with writing and fancy communication
skills aren't what we're drawn to.

We get excited when we receive information, even though it may be crude,
direct from caring, intelligent farmers. We believe we have something
of real vitality in Small Farmer's Journal and we're tyring to
keep it that way. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Lynn Miller, Editor/Publisher
