Beautiful Old Tools

We have collected, in our archives, several hard bound circa 1900 hardware catalogs which contain engravings of magnificent old tools. Here are a smattering.

I love using old tools, have many. Recently I stumbled onto a site (www.jimbodetools.com), there may be many more, where one man or company acquires old tools, restores them and sells them for a pretty penny. (See the two below.) If you go to that site you may find instructions of how to sell tools direct to them. Personally I would rather hang on to the tools and make of them special, long-story gifts to my grandchildren. – LRM
